As a lifelong fan of boxing going back to when Ali was still Cassius Clay, and remembering when Christie Martin was the face of Women’s Boxing; I love both Clarissa Shields and Alycia Baumgardner. I DON’T want to see them fight even at 147. Shields would have nothing to gain for her career; if she in fact won, because she would still be naturally the bigger woman. I believe Alycia has the better pure boxing skills, but power would be on Clarissa’s side. I would like to see Alycia move up one weight class and demonstrate her ability to be dominant there. They are both young and don’t need to take that step now anyway! Alycia is just naturally absolutely a beautiful woman, tremendously talented as a fighter of any gender, and has a very intelligent mindset. She’s an amazing talent and a beast of a fighter and I love her story, but even as a fan I have to say you could see her very clearly muscle development over time to the point where the definition in her arms and primarily shoulders and traps which was the dead giveaway ( anyone who’s spent enough time in the gym knows no matter how much a woman lifts and how strong she is, natural women never develop to much muscle in their shoulders primarily traps because it’s literally genetically impossible. Traps are a masculine physical muscular trait ) and unfortunately Alycias shoulders have been developing a lot if you look at some of her recent pics on her ig and even here in this interview I feel like there’s a pretty good reason why she’s wearing a baggy shirt and making sure her hair covers her traps. 💪🏽😂

I’m a competitive bodybuilder for over a decade, she definitely doesn’t have the physique of a women who takes PED, especially if your talking about shoulders, go to any competitive gym and you can find women who are hooked with androgenic effects, in her case it isn’t even comparable. She has the body of a women who works out, very simple. I would say only someone who seriously doesn’t lift or compete in boxing, (which I do both) would think this women has anything remotely resembling a body of someone who abuses PED’s. Her shoulders aren’t capped out and her arms are average.
