2016 i managed a Motel in Lake city florida. A Hurricanes was headed for the Panhandle of Florida, I got many residents from Pensacola evacuating from the storm. I love Roy, so I would ask them, how about Roy, their eyes would widen and OMG, we love Roy Jones Jr. He has done so much for our neighborhood and community. Roy is one one of our all time greatest Boxing athletes and humanitarians, GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER ✌️

I remember when Roy lost, I was in the military, out at sea at 4 O'clock in the morning when I saw it. My homeboys woke me up to catch the fight because we were in different time zones over seas.. and when I saw Roy fall, I was so upset, I threw my bowl of cereal at the tv screen. I was sick after that man, Roy was like a superhero to me and that moment messed up the rest of my deployment.

Appreciate this talk! My favourite fighter ever, he was a rockstar! Changed the game, highlights, sound track, doing everything fundamentally wrong but being so fast he could get away with it!! I wonder if RJJ would have been as great as he was, if his dad hadn’t put that pressure on him.. Even though it being toxic.. Did that anxiety it created, create an unstoppable beast?
