I agree wholeheartedly. I am an educator for 35 yrs and I have seen many guys and girls who have wasted their talents because they refused to discipline themselves to protect their gifts. Education must be first then athletics. After their careers, most athletes are struggling financially because they have no idea how to invest their money to enhance themselves after their careers are finished.
