Real question. Where are you getting the bodies to run the defensive positions 24/7? Remember, in this scenario there is no support folks. It’s you and who you got. Who is doing the laundry, planting the fields and watching the kids while someone else sits in an LP/OP for, six hours? Twelve hours?

You’re not going to have the bodies. Probably have to consolidate your area and efforts and deal with things when sh!t goes bad Families might have to double up into houses or rec centers etc to free up man power by limiting the area you have to patrol, speeding up response times for the qrf, etc etc

Hey could not really think of a better place to put this. We went shooting today. One of the court room girls just turned 21and they got there cc. She wanted to practice She doing ok at 15 yds and in. Had to get her to stop using the tea cup grip from who ever started her shooting. It was a fun day mostly. And its the mostly part that i thought was interesting. She was trying out a few different guns She like the p07 looks. First mag everything grate. Second mag a few into it a snap. I got the gun checked it. Looked like a light prime strike. So i shot it. Next few no problem just like normal. Then the trigger died when i released the trigger the hammer dropped rd went off i got hit in the face with something. No problem. So i checked the gun really could not see anything. Went over it really well at the house. The trigger bar spring was gone. Best i can figure it came lose and the last shot it some how got ejected with the case and hit me in the face. First time i ever had a problem with that spring. Glad i had eyes on could have been bad. G,ad it happen with me instead of a new shooter. She delt with it like a champ. Ended up shooting about 4 more mags afterwards. Our hobby is fun but just a point you never know when shtf will pop up Oh got her to keep the shots under a hand and 1/2 and in center mass. And explain why to carry hp instead of fmj. Gave her a box of hydrshock. I let her run a box through her gun it hit to sights and didn't have feeding issues. I was not giving out +p+ so it was them or old silver tip. So that was a good day

We have folks go missing at a rate of about 40 per 100k every year in a 4 digit sized population. Metheads are like whack-a-mole though... there always seems to be another one that pops up. Like I said... SHTF will simplify things.

Any tips for avoiding issues/confrontations with law enforcement (of any ilk) after a SHTF situation? I'm thinking unintended confrontations/accidents. Understanding that each jurisdiction and each LEO will be a bit different... I would think law enforcement (assuming they are still viable) would be on greater edge after a SHTF situation, making interactions when/if armed especially dangerous. I would also expect that even if law enforcement fails, elements of law enforcement would probably continue to work together under the presumption of a restoration of law. Habits die hard...

We're currently seeing this play out in real-time in Gaza and Lebanon today. Civilian militias are using these tactics to defend against the Israeli military, which is generally considered a Tier 1 military power. These militias have literally destroyed 30 to 40 Merkava tanks and dozens of armored D9 bulldozers and APCs in the last month alone. Anyone who tries to tell you that Second Amendment rights don't matter in the face today's modern militaries... just point them to Gaza. Thirteen months in, and Israel is losing more troops in Gaza now than they were this time last year.
