New follower here. We are fighting the same battles. You’re so right about all of issues that derail your project. We are weekend ranchers and something is always popping up.

It's a long way to these back pastures, so we're focused on unrolling closer to the house where we store the hay. That's where I was showing him unrolling. It has improved a bunch in that area. Once I'm onsite full time, I'll be unrolling back there most of the winter, assuming the closer pastures are better by then. I might even be able to start in two years after my son graduates high school and I start splitting my time between the farm and Atlanta. The top of that hill desperately needs carbon added to it.
