I'm having fun, and I'm seeing improvement, however slow!

It’s so good to see u continue this series every week. Thanks for taking a look at some suggestions. Definitely watch some of the longer ones offline if u need to. It’s fine if u don’t react to all of them I’m just excited to see more people learn about these games 😇

hello, i just wanted to say that watching you progressing in this genre is very inspiring. for how long you have been playing, i think you are doing very very good! im not sure if you know, but for games like streetfighter where there are a lot of links, you might want to do more double taps for consistency.

As of this comment, it's been a little over a month since I started actually trying to learn fighting games. So, not very long at all! I've also been advised about doubling up on button inputs to get links, but for combos that need special-move inputs I find I often drop it because I started the input too late due to tapping the previous button too many times. It's tricky!

About hitboxes, that will be true for any 2d fighting game

Yeah, I remember the term "fuzzy" from Gerald's (of Core-A Gaming) video as an example of hitboxes deviating from visual information.

I get so sweaty online too! Even if it's a pretty chill match (relatively anyway). My wife has banned me from the couch when I play fighting games

If you found that entertaining. When you have time you should watch Sfv Xavier woods vs Kenny omega at CEO. Then the sequel match at E3. You can see the growth of Xavier one year in then 3 years in. This is in comparison to his team mates in the E3 battle.
