Fighting Lingering Will in the Nobody May Cry Mod

Kept trying to end the fight with a cool finisher but failed so many times so eventually I gave up. It's a pretty fun mod though and is very worth playing! Nobody May Cry is currently in the alpha phase so it's bound to have many changes in the future which may or may not include this fight too.

Is the Light Dash better than quickrun? it certainly looks better. Can you hold the Light Dash and fly all over the place? Because I've seen that before with Roxas, but not sure 😅, I'd really love to try out this mod at some point, props to those who put all the work into this, it's Phenomenal

I played through the entire game from start to finish maxed out all my drive forms… Dash is quicker and faster than quickrun But it doesn’t necessarily provide the same s as dodge roll or quick run uses There were wayy too many times in boss fights where I would get 1 shotted by enemies because Roxas’s dash attack doesn’t necessarily provide the same s we’re used to getting with Sora… However… It is faster and alot quicker so sometimes you’d have to either opt for using Roxas’s reversal or using his Limit Break to escape certain attacks from boss fights and enemies 💯

Overhauls like this make me sad I played certain games so often that the enemies need overhauled just as hard to make them fun again. Like style switcher in DMC3. On the other hand being ~20 years later I wouldn't enjoy the games as much or have the time.

There aren't any directional inputs like in DMC but there are new inputs like R2 + Square that allows you to do different attacks

I can follow Roxas’ moveset just fine. This isn’t any more flashy then any other actual character action game, especially stuff like DMC4/5, which the mod takes inspiration from.
