( 2:50:36 ) • We learn that people get re-completed when their Heartless and Nobody are killed. • We learn that Master Xehanort from _Birth by Sleep_ is back (and will be the main antagonist of Kingdom Hearts III.) • Dream Drop Distance gets set up at the end. • Everything in the 2:54:40 scene. I'm putting this here because I always forget how this game isn't completely irrelevant... just like everyone else, which means I keep having to re-watch this, which is something that I would rather not do.

Axel That's how it originally was. In the 1950s, Stirling Holloway voiced the Cheshire Cat and in the 70s, Pooh Bear. It makes sense that now, Jim Cummings voices all his old roles as almost all of them use pretty much the same voice, one that Jim imitates perfectly.

If you're here trying to catch up on the whole Kingdom Hearts story, do yourself a favor and just watch the first twenty minutes or so, then skip to around 2:40:00. There is literally NOTHING of relevance to the overarching plot happening in between, just more recycling of the same old worlds (seriously, if I have to see Agrabah one more time) and characters. I have no idea why this game even exists, it seems completely uninspired.

So I'm only 10 minutes in but... the journal that recorded the events of KH1 was wiped blank in Chain of Memories, and the words didn't return although Sora and co's memories did. Jiminy found a new message so Mickey had it analyzed, and Chip and Dale zapped it so the journal has been translated into computer data, and all the data has formed a digital version of the universe but it's corrupted so digital Sora has to fight through the entire game again so the data - which is the journal entries - can be restored. That's this game?

I’m a huge Kingdom Hearts fan, and I’m watching all the cutscenes to make sure I’m ready for KH3, but omg this game’s story is so bad. It is so slow, with such weird plot points and such little plot relevence. Only like last 10 minutes have any story impact (barely). And why do they use “hurt” as a noun???

In the universe of KH, data worlds are essentially on the same "reality" tier as regular worlds. They exist, they and their denizens have hearts, they can fall into sleep the same way, etc etc. We see this repeatedly, from the entire plot of this game to those of Space Paranoids (KH2) and The Grid (DDD), the data recreation of Twilight Town (KH2), and even to a lesser extent within the KHx saga. Data-Sora is basically his own character outright
