If you wanna beat Lullaby, Pyra is probably your best bet. She can rack up damage with side B and big aerials and if Puff is above, there's a 50% chance she instadrops into your lingering up smash, which kills Puff at like 50 (high defense is negatdd by bad DI)

​@@linuszarrouk2004 If you want real numbers, it's around 27%, since the move Pyra's Up Smash is active for 27% of the total time of the move including startup and endlag, but if the Puff is above you, they are likely to drop onto you very quickly, very likely between frames 20 and 40, after reaching directly above you, as we've seen Lullaby and other amiibos with insta drop do in these sorts of videos, so the number increases dramatically, but is still not a realistically solvable problem, so I use 50% as a simple ballpark estimate. I say 50%, but what I mean is, there's a decent chance the AI is gonna drop on you, and since it's basically random when it does, or at least too difficult to figure out with the given data, you can achieve effective results by treating it like a 50-50.

​@@linuszarrouk2004 Dude, this is the method I used to beat Instadrop Puff. Two stock. Obviously, the method isn't "Spam Upsmash", it's to utilize your tools to rack up percent and try to avoid them being above you. The Puff does stall a decent amount, but the key word is more often than not. The way Amiibos work is that they will often land into your moves and attacks, it's considered one of their biggest weaknesses by the Amiibo training communities. She won't wait out your up smash, and if you play well, it will reward in your favor.

To answer your question you asked at 1:03, for me yes. I main Ridley and when I play Ridley offline, I feel like I can control him well and he feels like a decently well rounded character to me. Online though, I barely have control of his movement and moves and just end up spamming nair since the lag always messes up my other moves and makes the game a lot less fun

Since the Ness and Link amiibos seem to be kinda lacking compared to the others, maybe you should make a video retraining them now that you have gotten better at training amiibos. Especially Ness since Ness is one of your mains and and it was the first ever amiibo you trained, so it’s sad to watch him just lose instantly because you can just edgeguard once and win. Give him an extra jump or something.

I think byleth would be decent vs Lullaby, they has the raw power of ganon, but more speed, more range, and better aerials, also the up b would be able to snatch Lullaby out of the air and make it not be above you, byleth also does mad shield damage and we all know what happens when puff gets her shield broken.
