Yess! Super thankful for this ministry! You all are bearing much fruit and impacting the lives of many (hi from South FL) JD did a great job of breaking down the text and bringing application that equips the young adult saints! We need to hear these raw truths and confessions that are often hidden and used by the enemy. Thanks for bringing them to light and being faithful to teach the Word!

Thanks for the message and praise God that Jesus is on our side. Question: If God does not tempt us, how do you explain the Lord prayer when it states "and lead us not into temptation"?
@jacobadams62483 жыл бұрын
James 1:13-15 says: Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death. God is our guide and the lamp unto our path. So the "lead us not into temptation" part of the prayer is asking the father to help us and not have us fall into/yield to temptation. God is all good and cannot sin nor does he lead us to fall into sin, it is us who sometimes yield to temptations on account of the flesh being weak.

I thought I would enjoy this sermon. But then you start talking about yourself. Preach the gospel and Gods Kingdom only please!

Did you listen to the whole sermon?

I didn’t have too. Once the focus was put on the speaker and not on the Lord it becomes a false teaching. Jesus said “teach this Gospel”.

@@estelacardenas6546 i think you need to take in the consideration that people pay more attention when adding a few jokes here and there. I understand what your talking about, I know Pastors that really love to talk about themselves. Have a nice day!

@@Petes_cars I’m sick try if I offend you but I don’t need to take nothing “into consideration” when it comes to mocking our Lord. See all these pastor teach the same way. Maybe because the university they go to teach everything else but truth about the Kingdom. Our Lord didn’t come out with cookies and boast about Himself. I pray these “church” and religious people be shown the correct way to lead His people.

I get where you’re coming from - but remember that these people, are just people. Through the Holy Spirit, trying to communicate God’s word to other people who vary in where they are in their spiritual walk and how they learn information. As Paul stated “I become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I might share in its blessings.” 1 Corinthians 9:22 If you don’t prefer this teaching and other pastors help you understand and study God’s word, then what a blessing! Go learn from who helps you grow the most and Praise be to God for those pastors and your heart in seeking him! But no need to judge harshly someone who doesn’t share the gospel in one specific way you prefer, because God is working through them for a different audience who needs to hear those words. If there is false teaching, God will hold them accountable. I hope this is helpful in some way!!
