Supriya Shrinate is a National Spokesperson and member Coordination Group of the Indian National Congress Party. Before joining politics, she worked as a journalist (both print and electronic media) for 17 years. Her repertoire includes NDTV, India Today, and The Economic Times. Shrinate did her schooling at Loreto Convent, Lucknow, and later earned a Master of Arts degree in History from the University of Delhi. In early 2019, Shrinate quit journalism and joined the INC and the Congress party fielded her from the Maharajganj constituency of Uttar Pradesh in the general election held in April 2019. In 2022, Supriya Shrinate was appointed as Chairman of Social Media and Digital Platforms. Through her platform, Shrinate fights misinformation and creates awareness of the proliferation of fake news that is disrupting Indian society.

Supriya, besides just getting people jobs, there must be a other serious effort to bring down the hatred. Various methods have been tried abroad. Doing intercultural, inter community outreach. Nationally broadcase debates. Plays. Media/movies. Books. Subtle scenes in movies, serials, ads and comics that bust fake information and history. Eg: are all Hindu idol worshippers? Don't we have a lot of diversity in Hinduism too? were not all medieval kings ruthless- some more than others, but all were. Was India one nation before independence? Did the kingdoms not invade each other? Didn't different sects of Hindus fight each other violently? Did Patel and Nehru have differences just like a healthy relationship should? Didnt Vivekandanda talk about a multicultural vision of India?
