The Book - Speaking With Nature
In his new book, #ramachandraguha challenges the idea that countries like India lack environmental awareness. By exploring the works of ten Indian thinkers, he highlights “livelihood environmentalism,” rooted in necessity, contrasting with the “full-stomach environmentalism” of affluent nations. Guha examines humanity’s evolving relationship with nature and its implications for the future. This deeply researched work reveals the contributions of ten Indian thinkers who foresaw the dangers of environmental abuse long before "climate change" became a global concern.
Join Ramachandra Guha in conversation with C. Rammanohar Reddy, Editor of The India Forum, as they discuss the origins of Indian environmentalism.
