The funniest thing about Alak-Hul guarding Oryx’s temple is that with his memory loss, he probably doesn’t even realize that Oryx was someone he hated. Savathun probably was reading hive records and reads about Alak Hul’s failed attempts to usurp Oryx and just went “huh, that’s ironic” and didn’t even bother to tell him his guard duty was a statue of his worst enemy.

Lightblade was easily my favorite part of the campaign. I didn't see him at the beginning of the strike, and when he showed up before the boss room, fynch's dialogue made sense and I cannot describe how cool that was. Then the boss fight starts and I hear the music, "Oh that's so cool they play dark blade from D1 for his fight" right after I finish thinking that, the music flares, and "OH THEY MADE A REMIX THAT'S SO GOD DAMN COOOOL!!!" Still don't know how TF he's alive, we killed him years ago all the way in the sunless cell deep within the dreadnaught. How did Savathun manage to recover his incinerated corpse, and how was that enough to be revived?
