When I was 16 I found his managers contact info and emailed him explaining how I was a huge fan asking for an autograph and even wrote a comedy parody book report where Kimbo was the main character. Maybe two weeks to a month later, a large envelope came from a Miami P.O. Box with an 8 1/2 * 11 picture of him posing with his fists up autographed in gray sharpie. It just shows how much of a real dude he was to his fans, the postage was around 9 bucks.

STFU. His manager Mike used and abused girls down on their luck to exploit them making porn. Reality Kings... and Kimbo was there so none of these poor girls would get out of line. @@user-kj8or9uh3b well that statement as a whole is just totally false but true also!!! He NEVER hit people from behind, least of all on purpose. Nah, there are many worse things. For example being strapped to a chair and seeing your child get thrown into 'the Brazen Bull'* and being forced to hear his/her screams of agony is waaay worse. *The Brazen Bull was a bronze hollow bull that could fit a person in it. Once the victim was locked inside, they’d light a fire under the bull, slowly roasting the victim inside.

I remember seeing him fight on KZbin when i was in 7th grade; i was enthralled. This big, vicious brute of a man. He was almost terrifying but so much fun to watch. I would literally watch his fights on KZbin with my younger brother, just to crap ourselves watching how badly he would knock people out. So around 2011 i commented something on an MMA forum about how I didn't find him to be particularly skilled in mixed martial arts & didnt think he'd have too much success. Basically, the way i was saying it i was talking shit about him as a 19 almost 20 year old college kid. Kimbo Slice, HIS DAMN SELF, commented on what i said. "Its like a different sport than im used to but as long as God allows me, I'll get better. We're not the best yet but we're trying to be " Wrote it down and never forgot it.

This is a man you can feel. In your heart. In your soul. A real man. A man aspiring men want to be like. That guy. That guy right there. That's the man. Why? I don't know there's just something about him. He's got that something. That something special. When God pours that special love on you everybody knows it. Everybody. Kimbo didn't die. Kimbo graduated life. Not many men do. Kimbo did. Kimbo is special in a special way. I'm actually crying right now because he has so much love. Ahhh man.... You are the man my man. You are the man!

I remember watching his fight videos on KZbin as a teenager and thinking how bad ass he was and that he just looked absolutely terrifying. But then as he began to get some more mainstream popularity and we seen him in interviews and then on the ultimate fighter with the ufc we started to see and learn just what a humble a nice guy he really was. He seemed to be such an awesome and kind dude. We lost him way too soon.

I was living in South Fl when Kimbo filmed that first backyard fight. The video went viral before viral was a thing. I knew then he was different. The fact that he wasnt just a warrior in the ring but actually a good dude literally just trying to fight for his life makes his story that much more compelling. Gone too soon. Long Live King Kimbo & salute to his manager Icey Mike

As a struggling single father of three, trying to find where he belongs, stories like this are so inspiring. To be a true alpha, you must be tough enough to be a leader but gentile enough to empathize with the weak. R.I.P. Kimbo. You are an inspiration and a proper example of integrity.

Nah. Alpha shit is bullshit. Alphas die young b. Men raise the next generation. Confrontation is largely unnecessary, and often death is avoidable. You're a father of three. You're already more alpha than any punk, Chad , or badass. You're a fucking MAN. Go do your thing man. Look around you. This is what winning looks like.

Lol never would have imagined the UFC showing footage of the street fighting of Kimbo and promoting it when Dana used to trash Kimbo and backyard brawling with a deep passion and hatred for it, but glad Kimbo was able to change Dana’s mind and prove to the world that he’s not what people thought of him judging by the cover. Kimbo is a legend and I wish he was still alive so he could beat the bricks out of Jake Paul cuz Kimbo had serious boxing skills and would destroy Jake Paul.

Dana only says what's gonna make him money. He just goes with the (cash) flow. Now that kimbo is a cultural icon, and there is some time and distance between the illegal street fights, he's ok with promoting him. You can hear it from his own mouth, he just said the highest rating they ever got on The Ultimate Fighter was when Kimbo was on the show, with a huge grin on his face
