Fights broke out in the Georgian parliament on Thursday, 2 March, over a controversial "foreign agents" bill backed by the ruling party.
Critics have said the draft law, which would require organisations receiving more than 20 per cent of their funding from overseas to register as "foreign agents" or face fines, represents an authoritarian shift in the country.
Protesters disrupted Thursday's committee hearings and physical fights broke out between opposition lawmakers and those from the ruling Georgian Dream party, who have said they will support the bill.

Surely an anti corruption law is good thing. Why would you want a foreign country (Russia, USA, China or any other country) interfering and influencing your government and vital infrastructure?

The three countries you mentioned all have foreign agent laws, as do most Sovereign Nation's!

Yes other countries have it. The concern was it was modeled on the Russian one which Russia has used to clamp down on dissident. Since neither China nor Russia are democratic, many Gerogians were concerned this bill would represent a turn to a more authoritarian regime and reduce their chances of joining the EU.

Really the the people dragging around the people who want to fight each other were making things worse by playing peacekeeper. All it did was prolong the altercation. Would should of happened was guiding or instructing the people who want fight to go elsewhere, so really someone should of raised the offer of, 'let's take it outside' as the saying goes!😤+👊=😵=🤕,OR , 😡+🤜😟=😵‍💫=💀 Seriously though, this was absolutely disgraceful! Did done of them care the cameras were there and how bad it will look to the leaders of other countries? I think they just honestly just did not give a f**k!

Not exactly the same. The foreign agents law in the USA requires the person or agency to register themselves if they are working on behalf of a foreign government. The Russian law is used by the government to label anybody as a foreign agent if they receive any funding from abroad. The ironic thing is that the Georgian state itself receives huge funding from the EU and individual politicians receive vast amounts of money from Russia. I very much doubt if they would be thinking of labelling themselves as foreign agents though. It's designed to get at the opposition.

This is what happens when society reject Christ these things because more and More common Jesus Christ can set you free from sins and save you from hell today Jesus Christ is the only hope in this world no other gods will lead you to heaven There is no security or hope with out Jesus Christ in this world come and repent of all sins today Today is the day of salvation come to the loving savior Today repent and do not go to hell Come to Jesus Christ today Jesus Christ is only way to heaven Repent and follow him today seek his heart Jesus Christ can fill the emptiness he can fill the void Heaven and hell is real cone to the loving savior today Today is the day of salvation tomorrow might be to late come to the loving savior today Romans 6.23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Mark 1.15 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Hebrews 11:6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Jesus
