@@skateboardkye I think he did say that on the Sean Smith podcast in 2019, but recently I believe he was on the same podcast towards the end of 2020, said he has a different "heavy project" that may come out in the future. He has been writing Fightstar riffs on his 7 string, but also said Fightstar may not happen for a bit yet because Omar lives in Thailand currently.

I remember when fightstar first started out and played at the Concord 2 in Brighton when I was working security that night, I got to talk with Charlie and the rest of the guys an hour before they headlined. Charlie and the guys were so cool to talk to, End of the night I got to have a few drinks with them One of the best nights ever. Also a lass I was seeing at the time was a massive fan and she was over the moon to meet the guys after

Grand Unification had such a great atmosphere to it. It was one of the most important albums of its decade for me. Seeing them live is great and I was lucky to see Mono performed live and the crowd went wild with applause.

Totally agree, Grand Unification is one of those underrated masterpieces that in theory should have seen Fightstar become one of the biggest rock bands in the world but their success was always going to be held back by the cynicism of people who only judged Charlie for being in what was at the time a pop boyband.
