there is a joint for her skirt part but it is just hidden very well under the small part of her skirt and at the back of saber

Thanks for the in depth review. I almost picked her up to hold me over until kirin hobby sends my Sabre 2.0 is shipped out. You're one of the few reviewers that points out the good and the bad in equal detail. Quick question... Where are you from? Lol! At first I thought British Guyana because you say certain words similarly to my Mother but, after watching almost all yer vids, I"m thinking you're Irish. Just Wondering. Anyway keep it up!

I wish they were too! And that we could get some Figma Plus stuff like the Nendo line such as the dress up outfits or something. But I guess the trade off is having more variation in size and shape of our characters. Btw, I was wondering what your thoughts are on the Super Action Statue Line?

Another fantastically reviewed figure! It's all in that dynamic vocal work ;3. Unfortunately, in comparison to Saber 2.0 this figure seems to feel ironically 2-dimensional. This edition probably would have made a better statue/figurine than an action figure.

Just got mine yesterday and fortunately the paint job on it is superb. It doesn't have all these sloppy paint jobs you pointed out in the vid. But it also have that scabbard holding hand issue. I think the hand that has a tiny hole in its palm is really the one that should hold the scabbard (because it's almost identical to Saber Zero's scabbard holding hand which did a very good job). The one to hold the bamboo sword was the right hand as shown in the back of the box, which doesnt have a hole. So maybe it is a quality defect that the hand couldnt hold the scabbard, and that's a shame :(

I'm really on the fence for this one.. I love Saber, and this dress version just looks amazing artistically speaking and shows off that other side of the Saber we often catch glimpses of... but the QC is a bit lacking, I'm not even worried about articulation, I have 2.0 for that.. I was wondering whether getting the dress version was a good choice since I recently got the 2.0 version. All in all I think it's a really nice figure, but as you said it really seems like something for the hardcore fans of the Fate series since it's just extremely underwhelming in most aspects. P.S all praise the martyr for making the paint transfers so we won't have to! Also, did you manage to get your hands on Snow Miku: Snow Bell vers.? There was a convention that sold it near where I'm at but they sell out fast >.

I think you should write a complaint letter to GSC/Max Factory. With this one, you've recently received 3 figures with this kind of painting mistakes. And we could say they're four if we consider that the Mikasa I bought last month has some black paint dots off-place as well. Something's definitely going wrong.

By the way, there are one thing that i noticed, that recently you're mention figma's accessories three times (inside the box, in the blister package and outside the package). MFs gone lazy there one would say. Maybe because it's an exclusive? The skirt not moving doesn't bother me that much since I think this saber is meant to be posed "elegantly". Though that hair separation...boah! Also Mecha ! Did you ever though of getting a RG Gundam Astraea Type F ? I've got one recently and I'm amazed, you can make a 100% RG red Exia out of it + you get all the pieces to make the Astraea Type F with all it's weapons. I suggest it to you ;)

I know this comment's a year old, but.... I believe at some toward the end of the 2006 Fate/Stay Night anime, Saber loses the bow in her hair. And anyway, it's not that bad of a look.
