To be honest.. I dont mind easier games.. Sometimes I just want to relax while completing some light puzzles. So I feel this is right into my alley^^.

I totally agree. I'm finding that there is a swell of punishing platformers and rage-inducing technical games on the Switch, so a nice mellow is really great once in a while. Haha! :3

Right!? It's so good! It reminded me of a mix between The nightmare before christmas and James and the Giant peach. Especially the spider boss! 0_0

@@BudgetGamerChannel by chance have you played a game called Distrust on Switch. It looks very interesting, but I'm hesitant. I've watched other reviews but I'd rather hear it from you man.

I haven't. Well, I should say that I haven't, yet~ I'm sure it will make it's way to the channel, but the god of game sales will have to determine when. Haha!

I played this when it came out, and I agree with everything you said here. Sure, it's not particularly difficult, but its audio was fantastic and its art style is whimsical, colorful, and absolutely gorgeous, and that was more than enough to keep me going to the end.

It’s been a while since you reviewed a game I already played. This one, I loved it.😍 I even gave my opinion on the discord back then. It's exactly the kind of game I like, a puzzle-action-adventure with not too much action 😉. I liked the graphics full of details and I absolutely loved the soundtrack, I still sometimes listen to it. I also liked the story and the puzzles. My only regret is that it was too short, as I wanted to play it more. 😃
@BudgetGamerChannel3 жыл бұрын
Yes, it certainly felt too short. Games of this quality always do. There just aren't that many of them out there.

Awesome!! Thank you so much for this video. I'll be in hospital for most of February and this one looks right up my alley. I'll be happy to dive deep into this game's atmosphere and theme. Especially when I won't be allowed any visitors due to Covid. And with the game being on sale in the European eShop (for €3.79), it's an absolute no-brainer. :) Once again, the Budget Gamer shows what's good!
@BudgetGamerChannel3 жыл бұрын
Oh no! I'm really sorry to hear about your hospital stay. I hope you're on the up-swing, as it were. No visitors is no good either... :( If you get into it, Figment is pretty big for an indie game (8-10 hours), so I hope it can keep you a little company during your stay. :D

@zebbie093 жыл бұрын
I bought this a while back. It’s cool looking but I got really frustrated early on with the first boss and quit. I am not a very good gamer if this is considered unchallenging.
@BudgetGamerChannel3 жыл бұрын
Well, due to the lack of emphasis put into developing the combat system of the game, the combat is actually one of the more challenging aspects. The puzzling is a bit light, if not time consuming, and other than the combat (that spider totally wooped my rear a few times), the pace is more or less on the slow side. I guess the combat is challenging for story gamers, but the story is heavy for action gamers. Lol! Looks like im right in between. XD

Love the review. I’ve had this on my wishlist for a while now and I still haven’t pulled the trigger on it. But, the backlog has become so large that I could probably never buy another game and still not replay anything. On my main switch, I have 850+ games. Not to mention Steam and Xbox and PlayStation and (in the near future hopefully) Intellivision Amiico. Hope all is well with you my friend. *Also I’m playing Kentucky Year Zero and Manifold Garden right now. Both are very cool games. Manifold Garden has been quite the brain buster for me. I have to play it in short sessions. Clearly you are the superior puzzle gamer. Lol
