Simile - as, like. Metaphor - direct comparison. Personification - non living things given the quality of humans. Oxymoron - opposite qualities are added to something...Eg : he's is pretty ugly. Apostrophe - emotions !! Alliteration - letter repeat. Hyperbola - exaggerated statement...Eg : I died laughing.
