Up until horse was said, I thought it was a skier and he fell off of a ski lift. That was a fun game.

I knew the first one immediately because I've totally added extra seconds to allow for the mug handle to rotate to the front of the microwave 😂

I don't think the answer given to the first riddle is quite correct - almost, but not quite. We are told that the microwave is small. I think that is a pertinent clue. More likely than she is too short to reach the back of the oven is that the cup handle is facing away from her and the oven is too small for her to safely remove the cup. Two more seconds is needed to rotate the cup enough to safely remove it. At, least that's my take.

I object to the man in the second riddle being "found on a path" - you might successfully argue that a racetrack is a kind of path, but people had to have seen him fall, so they didn't just "find" him.

I was totally sure, to the extent of almost screaming at my monitor, that the guy with the strange stick was a skier with a ski pole 200 feet down the hill. Then when she figure out the strange stick was a whip, I thought he was a circus performer. Damn do I feel just a little more dumb than usual. lol

Riddle 2 was tough! My first thought was the stick was a balancing pole that high wire performers use and that he fell and the nearby gate was a gate into a circus or something.

For the second one I was guessing one of those people directing planes. Like the person was holding up one of those sticks with the orange end to the direct the plane but something happened when they neared the gate and the person got crushed.

For the second one I was thinking he was blind and had a cane. He walked though an airport gate with no plane and fell off the end.

For the 2 minutes, 2 seconds, I figured the lady was watching Chuck Woolery hosting the Love Connection and he'd always say "We'll be back in 2 and 2" meaning 2 minutes 2 seconds.

I think "i dont know" is a perfect short-hand, for "yes or no, its not relevant to the riddle".

Until the stick wasn’t made out of plastic and realizing that the “gate” was a specific size/material I thought that it was going to be a blind man with a walking cane or an airport traffic director with his baton who had been run over by a plane 😅 I thought he was going to go with another air travel one for her. I actually hadn’t heard this one before though so it was really fun to be able to play along!

I was thinking of blind person and toll booth as the gate getting run over crossing the road or toll booth where the person who died was a guard and the stick was a baton or some such.

I love this kind of lateral thinking riddles, but so many of them involve people dying in horrific ways 😅 My favorite is presented like this: A man pushes his car in front of a building, then he immediately went bankrupt. . . . . . . . . . . . Answer: He was playing monopoly. He pushed his car (player token) in front of another player’s property (usually for the riddle I will assume it is a hotel, so I can say that the kind of building matters) then had to pay the other player and went bankrupt as a result.

the second one i thought was a cattle prod and a rancher or cattle farmer who got trampled by a heard of cattle while he was trying to heard the cattle to another pen or into a milking station or something.

My great uncle worked out the perfect angle to place his mug in the microwave so the handle was facing him when the microwave finished. I had this riddle figured.

I agree with everyone else that these are great. I always think I know the answers right off the bat but I never do. Lol. For instance, I thought the gate riddle was about a blind man who got shocked by an electric fence when I he accidentally touched his cane to it after walking off the path to the gate. Guess not. Haha.
