I was so happy to find this video, because it's fascinating to be able to compare this super early footage with Shoma's programs from the past couple of years and see how his skating has developed basically from the beginning! I love how despite having that slightly awkward, "rehearsed" way all little kids move, you can see hints of the distinctive style he's matured into beginning to shine through (like at 0:28 and 1:03). Also, it's absolutely adorable how much he's clearly putting his whole heart into the performance and just having fun with it! He's so tiny I can't even T^T
