I would prefer to lock the bike using the app. But what if I loose my phone or damage it? Can I pair the bike with more than one phone? Or is there any recovery tool to unlock the bike?

This bike is totally illegal in EU and UK. Why? Has a throttle and above 250w motor power limit. Be warned. Police will stop and fine you with no caution

Well that's if you live in nanny state UK - you know the one that took back control recently. Elsewhere the police don't care about e bikes unless you are acting the fool on one.

I think it's only illegal if you either use the throttle setting or use power above 250w. Otherwise as long as the settings within this bike stay as pedal assist only and 250w, it's fine.

this fiido c11 is dangerous it has a minimum "eco" speed of 21 kmh! what do I need 5 speeds for if I start from 21 and get to 25 kmh? (rightly so, the legal limit is 25) an elderly person is afraid to use it minimum speed too high a woman, perhaps with a child seat, cannot use it, serious risk the "eco" speed must be lowered to 12-14 kmh LIKE ALL SAFE ELECTRIC BICYCLES update the software, or unlock it, or replace the on-board computer, change the speed with the app .... just make this vehicle safe and it is also designed with a low step-through .... but who is the software engineer, Donald Duck? the danger represented by this crazy and dangerous minimum speed for the safety of users strongly advises against purchasing it

Silly - I have done a top speed of 45km on my bike so far on throttle alone and the bike is extremely stable and controllable at that speed. I am sure this bike could do over 50km/hr on turbo+ and pedal assist on flat roads with no wind. I don't think this bike is suitable for frail people anyway - too big and heavy - but still a lot lighter than many other e bikes. .
