Great review as always Axel, I’m really curious about BTR17 coming out soon. I have both the BTR7 and the BTR15. You nailed the sound differences to a T. Tbh my FiiO Q15 gets 80% or more of my daily usage.

Been using the BTR13 for a couple months now with my Aful Explorer iem's using the 4.4 ballanced and it works great. If I have any issues, it 'seems' as if the battery looses charge too quickly when using 4.4 and 96k via bluetooth to last the supposed 8hrs of play time... I havent been able to fully test this tho so time will tell I guess

I think it's a great upgrade from the btr3k. Way more power and peq.

Yeah, great little device.

How does it measure up to the BTR3K? Budget wise, it would've made a good comparison, no?

I don't have the BTR3K.

Great review Axel!! I have this weird idea which I hope you can test out with the BTR13 Do you think it's possible to use something like a 3.5 Microphone on the 3.5 jack and a balanced IEM/Headphone on the 4.4 both on wired and wireless at the same time I have this weird strange idea because if I'm not mistaken IEM cables with a mic works on the 3.5 jack (unless I'm wrong) So in theory you could probably in a desk setup use a Boom Arm Microphone with a 3.5 and the 4.4 for the IEM/Headphone which saves space and could probably even improve the mic quality assuming the built-in dac/amp of the microphone is bad and for wireless you can use something like a "Rode Video Mic Me" on the 3.5 and 4.4 for your IEM/Headphone which is kinda like a lavalier mic and no I heard a mic test of the built-in mic, it's not really worth talking about.

I don’t have a 3.5mm mic to test this at the moment, but generally, you shouldn’t use the 3.5mm and 4.4mm outputs simultaneously, as the difference in power and impedance could damage your connected IEMs or headphones.
