I guess a comparison with the fh7 would be obviously unfair, considering it's multiple times the price of the fh3s. Thanks for the helpful video.

You can always check out my FH7 review, which mentions the FH5, so you'll get some idea: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6DJd5eBlsSgd6M

So there pretty much the same with the fh5 having a bit better separation? You talked more about tips than actually comparing the 2
@Currawong4 жыл бұрын
Yup, that's pretty much all there was between them. I talked about tips etc. in case someone came across the video who hadn't seen the reviews.

@@Currawong I think the tips and fit are very important so please keep doing that. I had to sell a few iems because of the pressure on the eardrum because I don't like using foam tips so it's nice to see someone addressing this.

Does anyone notice a constant popping sound of fiio fh3 especially when the volume is low? On the right driver of my fh3 it makes a popping noise especially when i move my jaw or swallow my saliva. I try lowering the pressure inside my ear by opening my jaw when i insert the iem but there is still a noise. I try all the tips but still the same. Is it a damage driver or it was just a seal problem?
@MrB10N1CLE3 жыл бұрын
late reply, but it's just driver flex (the diaphragm popping back because of pressure change when you move your jaws). It's normal, but definitely annoying
@Assimilator7023 жыл бұрын
I e never heard that popping with my FH3. Driver flex fortunately doesn’t plague every set of FH3.

The thing with IEM is the sound isolation. I have gone through 2 of them both QKZ vk4 and blon bl03 I didn't like either of them they are bright but low bass. You have to push them in your ear to hear good bass. I had very cheap samsung S9 AKG knock off that had better bass although muddy. The iPhone 6 like earphones fit in my ear well. I had a cheap copy of it too. They were a bit better than the aforementioned AKG. I am saving for DT 770 80ohm. Would that be any good?
@Currawong3 жыл бұрын
Try a tip size one smaller or one larger. I've found I need a size larger with some IEMs to get a seal good enough that I get bass.
@goldengold85683 жыл бұрын
@@Currawong Okay I will try that. Thank you for the reply.

This was recommended to me by one of my local audio shops to upgrade from SE215. Also I’m currently rocking with my Q1 Mark II. What is a good possible upgrade from this DAC? And also I’m using normal 3.5mm Jack on it. Is getting another MMCX cable for Balanced output even worth it?
@Rashomon004 жыл бұрын
I've been hoping for a comparison like this! What are your impressions of the FH3 with foam tips? I've been having a hard time getting a tight seal with most tips.
@VividBoi3 жыл бұрын
Foam tips seal pretty good in my experience. It's supposed to offer a superior fit since it's more adaptable to ur ear canal. However, it does lessen bass impact and treble quality a little
@Assimilator7023 жыл бұрын
Foam tips on any iem are an individuals preference. It doesn’t matter what another person likes or dislikes. Me personally I think foam tips kill the treble on any iem. You might think otherwise.
@prabinpaudel55724 жыл бұрын
You should review bqeyz spring 2 and tin p1 for clearer treble for low price.
@thenarrator19213 жыл бұрын
Based on reviews, Spring 2 just has more prominent treble but not necessarily clearer. Tape Pro shows that well

Which model spinfit do you use ?
@glmaudio81314 жыл бұрын
Very good review. I also like Spinfit tips a lot. Question: In your opinion it is still worth fh7 bought after 1 year and something on the market? I saw your very detailed review and I am set on that IEM Or I should buy something like Mangird Tea or newer IEM? Thanks!
@Z1M0Z1M4 жыл бұрын
Purchase the FH7's I have both the Tea's and the FH7s. Fh7 balanced blows the Tea's away. But then again it subjective. Every one has different tastes. For me the FH7's cover the spectrum from all angles.

@@glmaudio8131 You made the right choice for sure. I purchased the Comply P-Series M-Bk foam tips model 40-10106-11. They're 50% longer then regular tips and the performance difference when using on the FH7 is surprisingly HUGE. Much better than the Dekoni tips I had on them first and WAY better then ANY of the tips that comes with the FH7's. Night and Day type of difference. Just letting you know. Amazon has them for 17.99 right now.

Why there is no microphones in Fiio headphones . This is very bad 😤
@Currawong2 жыл бұрын
Probably because they would have to use low-quality cables, or find a way to design a high quality cable with an inline mic which would cost too much.
