1:50 I actually thing it's intuitive to have the next track on the bottom and previous on top. When you look at the track list the next song is under the current song and the previous song is above.

@@pressureworld1 Sadly mine packed up so returned it to Amazon for exchange, the new one they sent however was not recognised by FiiO as being genuine. What I would say is that the original was a beautiful piece of kit and the sound quality was second to none and the screen images were the sharpest I’d ever seen, just gutted it packed in then gutted the second one wasn’t recognised as genuine from Amazon by FiiO.

I like the minimalist aesthetic of the M7 and it’s straightforward interface, it’s the DAP that appeals to me most in that price-range. As an iPhone 6 user (I🖤headphone jacks) I’d be interested if you can actually hear a step-up in sound quality playing a red book Flac? The iPhone 6 sounds good to my ears, it’s a nice starting point.

Sound is very nice - neutral, clean, good soundstage. Vocals are not recessed. I would put it as a very good 'Entry level Audiophile DAP' Perfect if you want a less expensive but still 'audiophile enough' unit to travel with. 20 hours max is perfect for long hall flights! It also pairs very well with the Tin Audio T2

thank for another great video :D. I did listen on LG V20 quad DAC or something, but it can not compare to my DAP Aigo 108 with only one DAC WM8740. I have'nt listened music on phone for a long time. A DAP save my phone's storage, battery and upgrade music quality. Im glad that you buy one. I ordered the new Sony Walkman A55 too :)

I got the v30 quad dac and its amazing. I dont have any hifi stuff to compare it to all i got is a creative sbz soundcard with dac/amp and my dad has a onkyo reciever with a 32bit dac or something. Its a atmos enabled reciever so its not old but i dont notice much difference because the v30 is doing a great job

So what is that big bar above the device itself? Is it just for the spin wheel and headphone jack? It looks super tacky and bulky up there. I also find it a huge downgrade that the M6 offers wifi so we can download things like spotify and amazon music but the M7 does not offer wifi so we can't do that.

Right then, ignore my comment below, I have now managed to shuffle all music from both folders at same time. Which I'm happy with. So all I'm thinking is can you only shuffle from each folder separately. ...it seems not . Can't see a way to choose ....it can play each folder. But not Shuffle individual. ....

Hello. I have a question. For a dap to use for gym I am looking for something around 100 bucks. Now what I need is mw power, and a good eq. I got the fiio m3.hiby r2 and r3. And I can't use it because they have a bad eq that affects volume about 6 to 10 db. No point for them to be 70mw power when I change the ew it goes down to 30mw and the Sony nw a55 has only 45mw. But a perfect eq that does not change other fz like this hiby does. Other thing is the mseb, you spoke about that and I don't think you had time with that. I had.its real bad, bass extention does not go on bass and affects mids, then you had mids to be forward because you lost vocal volume and then change the air because the voice become thicker and then the bass extention goes back to 0. Is like a having a seating that says, to loose weigh press this. And other that says. Loose weight with burgers, and when you add loose weight with burgers the loose weight goes back to default. It makes no sense that eq. Thicker instruments changes voice tone. Temperature changes bass and voice. Is like you send 3 hours back and forwards and all people speak about this without having a trial. Then I say, screw this crap. Back to eq and volume goes down that I need to play at 100% and all distortion comes on. It's bad. So I ask a simple question. What eq is good that does not affect volume. And what dap is strong in volume because I have 50 iems and some they need power. Thanks

I currently use MediaMonkey on an older Android phone that I've repurposed as an MP3 player and I really like the MediaMonkey interface so wanted to check if it (or other apps) could be used on this device. Me: Newbie,Bought Sennheiser Momentum 2 True Wireless earphones it has Blue Tooth 5.1 Since MP3 players with 5.1 BT are rare & $$$. Was told that I can use MP3 with Blue Tooth 4.2 & Sennheiser 5.1 BT with the SAME audio quality. I'll probably get into it in a separate video- but overall the sound is pretty good. I'll have to test higher bitrate files to see how much better it handles that, because like i said, it does have that extra edge with supporting higher bitrate files.

The Sony NW-A45 also has a decent build ,but the software is annoying as hell to navigate through. Also they didn't do a good job displaying the album bigger too onto the screen.

Hey man, great review of the DAP. A not so relevant question thou, would appreciate if you can help me out. I am in the market for a "smart" MP3 player, what I mean is that it can stream music directly from my smartphone either via wifi or bluetooth, the Underwater Audio Delphin is a good interpretation of that. The price is kind of steep on that one, so I come to asking if you know an alternative that does the exact same thing. (My phone is too bulky and I want to play music off Sound Cloud without having to constantly download and copy it to an SD for a regular mp3. It is probably a quick fix if I use a bluetooth earphone, but then I am too comfortable with my wire earphones.) A lot of contradictions! But I do thank you in advance if you could help me out.

don't like bluetooth headphone that much, because i work at different pc and stations, so not all of them has bluetooth connectivity, then I will have to carry my cable wire instead... but i dont prefer changing them up + i prefer not bringing my fone to the gym (I will acknowledge that i am kinda ridiculous, but I just want to scoutaround to see if there are other smart mp3, and if there isn't I will get a bluetooth earphone anws.)

I bought a Fiio M7..Read my comments to Fiio head office.. Hi, Received item Fiio M7, however there is a waving signal on all FM programs, it is not locking in on the channels. I am surprised that such an expensive device cannot pick up channels clearly and stay locked onto them. The earphones I use are Sony...My Cowons player has no issues at all and will play stations clearly and anywhere...all my other devices pick up stations with no issues with my Sony earphones.....I bought your as I bought a Sony N45 player, however that had an auto set scan fault, and so I sent it back. This is so disappointing as the sound is good....I have bought two 5 driver earphones and thus I will see what happens with the signal on your player......I do not understand the boast of an FM chip that is poor....

I don't really like these Chinese products either. I miss my Sansa Clip Plus. It's very tiny, has micro SD slot, FM radio, recording function, pretty good battery life, and the small clip makes it good for workouts. Oh and the UI was actually easy to use and navigate. Not sure why on a lot of these Hi-res players the UI sucks and you have to create tons of folders because the device won't organize your music by artist or albums. And a lot of the times you use touchscreen and in most cases physical buttons feel better. On my Sansa Clip Plus I'm able to navigate it by pressing the buttons without looking at it, can't say that's true with touchscreen devices. The only thing I would add to it is Bluetooth really.

It's crazy how backwards and cheapo things have become nowadays. In the past we had tons of Mp3 products yes produced in China most likely but at least the brands were American so you could at least be assured the products actually worked. We had Ipods by Apple, Zunes by Microsoft, Sansa Players, SanDisk Players, Dell Jukebox, and Sony Walkmans you could actually afford. And now we have cheap Aliexpress, Bangood, Gearbest found on Chinese websites Chinese players that have these supposedly good specs and can be bought under $30 but break in 3 months disposable garbage. Or you can buy something with usable UI but unlike American mp3 players of the past that could be purchased for $100 and last you several years, you have to pay over $200 most likely.
