I’ve had the Q15 for the last month and a half or so and truly is an amazing piece of kit. A huge upgrade from my ifI Gryphon and BTR7. Excellent review.

So, the Q15 is worth the extra $100 vs the BTR7. The larger size diesn't bother you? Does it have the "magic" EQ sound for which the BTR7 is fsmous?

@@Metal_seer The Q15 is $200 more than the BTR7. It is a huge improvement over the BTR7 in all metrics. I don’t know what you are talking about the “magic” eq sound..? 🤷. The PEQcin the app on the Q15 works great if that is what you are talking about.

Thanks for the review. My 2 cents worth of advice is to please use a Lapel microphone. The sound in the video had an echo and sounded like you were on the other side of the room. Also why do you call listening to music a project? But good review otherwise.

The BTR7 is famous for its native EQ settings. Does the Q1 5 have the same "magic?" ls it worth the extra $100 if one doesn't need the extra power or coax?

I was in communication with FiiO about problems with the app and they told me a fix is coming very soon. I have found FiiO to be reasonably on time with there firmware and app updates.

@@fiddlix that's true, I was getting some auto switching issue with their k9 pro AKM on high gain, they were quick and responsive to provide a new firmware to fix that. That's said I really like Fiio as a company as they are doing their job listening to they customer and helping them in all scenarios despite being a smaller team than competition. Kudos to Fiio. My comment went toward reviewers who still says PEQ works on both Bluetooth and USB, which shows that the reviewer has not tested/tried the device properly. This is not on Fiio but on reviewers who give a impression like they are sales man rather and a reviewer.

No. Only 3.5mm and 4.4mm. it has USB C input though
