Fiji and a tour of our wheelchair accessible room at Radisson Blu resort!

Hey Amigos, in this video we stay at the Radisson Blu resort on Denarau island Fiji, i do a full room tour of our wheelchair accessible apartment and go explore all the pools and pathways that wind there way around the property. We used TTF, Tourist Transport Fiji for the taxi but book early as there is only 1 wheelchair accessible taxi in fiji

Bathroom looks doable for me. Cool video and relieves stress of travelling for someone like ourselves. I always feel like I’m going into the unknown. Cheers.

The bathroom had two SHOWERS in one....... you could have 2 disabled people showering at once! HAHA

G'day again mate. have to give it to you, you are well travelled. I see you travel with your commode. Is that hard to travel with? I have started using a commode over the last 4 or 5 years and while it has helped greatly it has proven to be a double edged sword, in that I probably now couldn't travel anywhere without it. So my holidaying has been curtailed somewhat. Interested in how you manage. Cheers keep up the good work.

Hey mate, yes i use a K Care self propelled shower commode and have done since my injury, its super easy to travel with and over the years ive done over 44 flights and countless road trips with them and they have never broken and never been an issue with an airline, plus we load our luggage on top wheeling through the airport. i use the rigid frame one they have a travelling one that collapses flat but the frame bent and was a pain dragging through the airport. i will make a video explaining this and release it in 2 weeks

Looks beautiful over there, Cory. You and Becky have been to awesome places, some beautiful countries, I can understand how the travel bug would get you. Hey, I've heard that Fiji is basically run by the Chinese these days. Did you see any evidence of that at all?

The travel bug has truly got us! 🤣 theres so many places we want to go. no i didnt see signs of that in Fiji, but in El Salvador the Chinese have 'Gifted' many new buildings, structures and parks they even own a lots of land that has a big shipping port............... 🤔 El Salvador is within close proximity to the US if you know what i mean

@@rollwiththepunches5932 Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. From what I understand, they own heaps of land in Africa too. They even own the Port of Darwin! Can you imagine Australia owning even a tiny bit of land in China? That 38 hours sitting on your butt must've been really uncomfortable for you, it must've been a relief once that was over!

@@zwastiunburzy3688 yes after 38 hours i was exhausted, especially due to jet lag, dehydration from not drinking and eating coz i cant go to the toilet on the plane

I mean, I get uncomfortable enough even after a couple of hours of sitting in the one position. Far out mate, don't know how you do it. You're a stronger man than me, my friend. just 3 nights in Fiji, it was a stop over on our way home from El Salvador, i recomend going there

Hi, yes i did there is only one wheelchair accessible van in Fiji and thats through Tourist Transport Fiji
