I have issues at my work place- it's a combination of indivicoworkers and not being able to relate and argue due to modern unintegrous modern workplace 'morality' rules. However, if I reflect I see that these individuals and for that matter the corporation itself are only creating future pain, suffering, confusion for themselves; a continual, self-perpetuating cycle. By sharing your stories you help me, again, see how people's ignorance is so prevalent and how important it is for me to shape up myself so I don't 'ignorantly' create a platform for a future he'll for myself and by default, others.

The only reason i was thinking tibetan medicine is because you talk about horrible spasms--- i was thinking that a Tibetan doctor could help but of course i dont know.

Actually. Tibetan medicine is made of herbal mixtures from the Himalayas. It definitely has an effect, however, im not sure if an authentic doctor could be found where youre at.
@Jeffrey-fw7phАй бұрын
Also, i was recently thinking how a Tibetan Buddhist teacher was giving advice through a letter to a prisoner asking him what he could do to transform himself while being locked away. Lama zopa (who passed on last year) told him that in reality he should think of himself as extremely fortunate that he is shut off from the ordinary world as, if you examine most peoples motives and concerns you'll see how superficial their lives are and how their whole lives are wasted away trying to impress others with appearances. So anyway, i dont yet have the 'opportunity ' to be in prison, ect, but this helps me reflect on how much time i waste worried about my physical appearance and jealousy ect. Im sure, yoy just have so much insight into this human world that no one could have otherwise. Obviously, you have a lot to share. People like myself are out there who want to listen.

@@rollwiththepunches5932 tibetan monks are quite amazing. The energy which was there at the time when Lama Zopa was here in Wisconsin put me in a blissful/ peaceful state like nothing I've experienced. I can only relate it to how people, man or lady all seem to become different when they are interacting with the Dalai Lama. Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa both past but they were monks specifically assigned by the dalailama in the 70s to teach westerners. You can see their videos on the FPMT youtube channel.

It's nice listening to you speak. 25 years ago we had so little access to the information we now have, in regard to personal videos like yours. I learn so much from listening. I was thinking how 25 years ago (Im 45 now) i tried to impress my friends by running into the ocean in Durban South Africa. My Califorian friend knew to strap his body board to his ankle. After making it past the breakers i realized the under current was keeping me from swimming back to shore while the waves kept breaking over top of me. Shear panic kicked in and it took every ounce of effort to get back to shore, actually it seems like a miracle, then and still now. Anyway, its quite amazing how we all just survive basically day to day. I spent 4 years in Africa as student in South Africa and a US Peace Corps in Gambia. I have so many amazing stories normally just share them with co-workers. I went back to my village in 2021 to build a borehole well in my former peace corps village. I sold everything i had so icould spend 10 months there, living in the african bush, biking throughout Guinea Bissau and Senegal like i was 24 years old again. Lots of people were impressed but sometimes i was asked why i dont think of retirement. Life is so brief and such a miracle. Anyway, Australia is a place id like to see- ive been a reptile fanatic since a boy and read and watched so much about the Australian outback.
