Christians grandmother (his dad's mother) is Samoan. I remember seeing him in Samoa way back in 1997 at the height of his career. He will be my best fullback of all time, no doubt inspired the next generation of players you see running around today. Oh and hes mah guzin....

Christian Cullen is the best fullback of all time. I still don't know why the coaches moved him around to the wing and centre so much, he was an out-and-out fullback. With Jeff Wilson and Jonah Lomu on the wing, Cully was at his best at the back. Beautiful to see him visiting his Samoan roots. I never knew that he was part Samoan. Amazing! Love his arm tattoo as well. PS. Triple H is Samoan LOL

274 Otara ~Tin City. I remember the Alatini brothers back in East Tamaki Primary, Sam was in my class, very sporty family… Pita and Tony walking to East Tamaki rugby club for trainings as kids. Very proud of how the brothers turned out. Go the All Blacks.

My uncle who was a selector for then Western Samoa once told me that Cullen and Kronfeld were both in the mix on being picked for the 1995 Western Samoan world cup rugby squad...

I was loving see pacifican play and games..... so sadly in europe u see only at world cups games or some youtube cuts. pacifican hopefully getting more rights playing together every years. ...not only before WC. How great seeing samoan, tongan, fijian where was playing more together. giving more confidence, save,knowing and less fouls automatically! Thats why european or big rugby countries playing they game saver? Manu samoa, tonga strength and flying fijian we want see more🙏
