Gulgula or Fried Donuts is a tea time snack..Simple and easy to make...
Ingredients:
2 cups plain flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup sugar ( can be adjusted according to your taste)
Elaichi/Cardamom powder (as per taste)
1 2/3 cups of water (to make batter)
Oil (for frying)
other condiments can also be added such as
vanilla extract
sultanas
dedicated coconut
mashed bananas
grated carrots
