Vinaka Vakalevu Mr Tikoduadua. You hit the nail on the head. Most problems we are seeing in Fiji, especially drugs, is the product of poor parenting. So many churches in Fiji with its denominational obligation; so much vanua obligations - all at the expense of our children, our future. Prevention is better than cure. Let’s start at home.

Law about drugs in Fiji should be tighten up. If found use or deals with straight into prison for minimum 7years Get back check points on every roads give the dealer hard time to there movement get the dogs in we don’t need guns to control this we need wisdom. Get the army involved. And every villagers should report any suspicious activity in the village. Let’s all work together from inside out. Businesses should be monitor ports hotels. Get the rugby player celebrity preach the fight for drugs everyone needs to get involved. We still can do it fiji 🇫🇯

The whole nation got to this point because of neglect. Lack of moral values from home. Lack and near to zero spiritual compass from the money loving churches. And absolute intentional abuse of the law from the previous corrupt government! We need to reverse all of these key points in all these key areas. Hold accountable all those responsible who abused their positions whilst in power, to the full extent of the law. And reinstate corporal punishment in schools and homes. And if Australia and New Zealand don't help solve the problem, then maybe we need to look to El Salvador and learn from their current government!

● Issue of licenses to consumers who wished to buy highly potential illicit drug products and raw materials. (Activities to be recorded and monitored by the Pharmacy and the Police). ● Charge businesses selling drugs to juveniles. ● Extreme charges and penalties to be given to businesses and juveniles upon making drug businesses. ( $20,000 fine ). ● Checking of IDs upon transacting any drug products from the pharmacies. ● Random school drug tests for students and officials to be part of the collaboration work of the police and the health officials.

Vijay Narayan - you need to relax now. Your time as a journalist is up and you should give the opportunity to the new young guns. You have hopeless style of journalism. Minister - seems to be confused.

Jeolousy is not a profession. You should try something else. There both professionals in their own capacities and have both contributed positively to society.
