How sad. Such a small place but less than a dozen people. It shows as a nation how far we are from education.

تاریخ نہ اپنے اپ کو دھراتی ہے نہ ہی سیدھی لائین میں اگے بڑھتی ہے بلکہ سپرنگ شکل میں آگے کی طرف رواں دواں رہتی ہے

This lecture is a great surprise from Pakistan. Of course, I have no access to the book in question. However, the western philosophy is presented as over-simplified. Things don't come to an end with Descartes and Kant, but begin afresh in many ways. Indian worldview is also somewhat crudely presented, but still is in the right direction. Keynote of the Chinese thought is universal harmony, but again specially after the introduction of Buddhism in the Han period, it carries many a disharmonious note.

Westren philosophy is not presented oversimplified but he said that the nature of epistemology and metaphysics were tried to finalized by two greats of modern philosophy. Of course philosophy cannot be imagined without metaphysics.

Bhartiya philosophy is cyclic. Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Baudh, etc. follows Cyclic Time.
