It seems pretty obvious if you go to live shows, that studio recordings can't easily capture the passion and emotions of a live performance. Great rection- glad you got to see them. Miku is a real treasure.

I am always blown away by how hard rocking Sayonakidori is and then how incredibly beautiful it is in the acoustic MV. For me, this is proof of the genius of Band-Maid's music - each and every song is a real work of art and can be played in multiple ways for different yet still equally brilliant effect. Thank goodness for Miku, po! She is a genuine treasure.

Band Maid gives me my music, from Classical to pop to punk to Classic Rock to Grunge to Punk to Southern Rock to Jazz to Metal to Hard Rock. They are the full package and the Real Deal. And their music and their personalities makes me admire them more and more every day. And they are lead by by a strong determined woman who doesn't take no for an answer. And whose dreams encompass the entire world.

I bet Miku loves Rock In me on stage : in this song, she has no guitar, so she can take her microphone in hand, and therefore, go anywhere and do anything. In the other songs, she has to use a fixed microphone and can't move or jump as much as she wants, specialy if she's the main singer : it must be very hard for her ...

I think Miku's best song is Time. Especially the sibuya 2020 live version. It's actually a really well put together song.

Even the difference between the no-audience okyu-jis and fully live is stark. When Miku and the other band members get in front of a responsive crowd, everything gets turned up to 11.

it was awesome seeing every US crowd cheering HARD for her at that high note.

the craziest part about this to me is that she always does her solo vocal songs after omajinai, where she screams her fucking voice out like no tomorrow.

The version of 'Sayonakidori' from the acoustic set last Christmas was exceptionally good. It's currently up on their official KZbin channel.

So funny you mentioned the Phillipines and "po". I act as a mod for a channel that has done a few reactions for a particular Filipino group, and so many comments have po in them. I was wondering if they were big fans of Miku, but now I know! Great review!

I grew up in the Philippines saying Po, so when I heard Miku for the first time, it reminded me of my childhood. It still sounded strange, but I probably got used to it faster than most 😂

The 2021 Christmas Acoustic version of Sayonakidori (+Time) is a superb arrangement (lower key), where Miku was able to hit that last high note with a solid mixed voice. It would be an awesome reaction, Po! 🦍🍌

I think it is Miku in the backing track of Sayonakidori. I am not 100% sure, but her voice is a lot deeper when she is not hyped up.

Yeah, I’ve heard her harmonize with Saiki using high to low registers. Miku has a surprisingly varied range. It just sounded like Saiki to me, but I could be wrong.
@rickwagner-2 жыл бұрын
It's been confirmed in interviews that it's Saiki quoting from 'Romeo and Juliet'.
@FilAmConnections2 жыл бұрын
@@rickwagner- thanks for the info. Romeo and Juliet huh? The amount of details the Maids include in their songs are just phenomenal. That’s why I love them!
@KarstenThorsen2 жыл бұрын
@@rickwagner- Damn. I finally thought I could tell them apart. Guess I will have to go through their entire catalogue again. Oh the horror 😁 I do find it interesting that in their first songs they are hard to tell apart, then it gets easier (Saiki is more raw, more power, Miku is softer). But recently it is getting difficult again. Saiki sometimes goes softer, and Miku has more power. It is confusing when I cannot see who is singing (or speaking in this case) I love both of them though, and confusion is not a stranger to me 😁

I don't have a favorite Maid. They make each other better. The sum is greater than the parts. 1+1+1+1+1 equals infitimy. But Miku is the one that saw that and put it All together. No ego just vision. The pigeon is amazing. Thanks brother PO 😊😎🤘
