For the back to hold the closure.....punch or cut a 2" oval. Glue at the top and bottom of the oval in the centre of the back and thread the ribbon through. Love this project. It would make nice wedding or shower gift to hold memories. Sandi

I found that if I take a punch (larger circle) and fold it in half to give me the middle of it. Then unfold it, take a smaller punch circle, center it on that fold line only part way in, the punch it. It takes more time but the finish tab looks very close to yours. Hope this helps others.

I am not sure. I just never have an issue. I always shake my glue a little right before and after I use it. Maybe that helps?

Some crafters say reap-tile glue is good others say glitter glue is good i am new at all this. What's the difference?

Reptile glue is good, but I prefer Bearly Arts glue as it seems to wrinkle the paper less than either the Reptile or Art Glitter glues. Reptile and Bearly Arts are both nontoxic, Art Glitter glue does not claim to be nontoxic. I hope that helps!
