I worked at a school that was a mile from an egg farm. There were FLIES!! Tons of them! We would take a sandwich or quart size bag put 5-8 pennies in it, the shinier the better, and fill it 3/4 with water. We then taped them in windows by the doors or on the window of the door. The theory is flies do not come near as the reflection from the pennies messes with the multi lensed eyes. They can’t tell when a predator is near so they don’t come near the bags reflections. It worked pretty good for us. Some flies got by but you can’t even imagine how many flies a chicken/egg facility attracts. Crazy! Hope this helps.

Oh Edith, thank you for touring your shop & showing all the goodies. If I was there, I'd probably buy one of each item, if not more, but no money or at least not for these items! I'd be spending mortgage payments & for food etc. Ha! But I sure would love seeing it all. I can't wait to see the inside of the RV. Are neighbors have one not as big & it hitches up to their truck. But they hardly ever use it. Since living here for about 10 years, I've seen them take off in it 2or3 times. They leave it there for a divider between us. Long story! But thanks for the tour! Take care! Did you know Aleene the crafter lady that was on TV with her show! I watched her show for a few years & bought a lot of things from her. This was before the internet & all.
