Last weekend, I had a pet adoption event. Another volunteer and I put together a bunch of handmade goodness and had a raffle. My part was homemade cookies and a handmade journal. We raised $400! AND 25 kitties and 4 dogs got new forever homes ❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊

I have to say that it was refreshing to see you have to make corrections. That is true crafting. Of course it still turned out perfect. But I get to the stage of a mistake and get upset with it and sometimes give up. I loved watching you just keep pushing forward and still getting something functional. This is fantastic timing, as my husband is throwing away several boxes of old papers ( going back to the 60s) he was given from a chorus he belongs to. I asked him to let me have all the dividers and folders, only problem is they smell musty. But this folder is exactly what I have to work with, and as you said, whatever I make it's better than going to the recycle bin! Thanks for this video. Sandy

Dry rice or bicarb of soda might help. Sprinkle and leave in a sealed bad for a few days.

On the side pieces, if you want more space, just add more folds. Can be narrower in measurement, and several inches worth. This is such a cute pouch!

I’m loving these “junk drawer” videos… love how you made this old something into a useful item. I plan to make one later today for keeping my miscellaneous ephemera pieces i collect to create/ build at a later time. All those small items can be difficult to keep together so I’m thinking this would be a great assistance. Also love these extra videos each week! You’re my #1 channel and I’m always delighted to see you pop up with something new… This one rolled into an older video where you’re making a “travelers journal “. Which reminded me to reach out to you on this one to tell you what that material is that you’re using for the cover. I’m pretty sure that thick plastic like material is actually Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) for applying Circut cut type stuff to t-shirts, totes etc. It’s nice for what you’re using, for sure, but I’m pretty certain that’s what it is. They make sooo many types and yours is a pretty glitter type. I mite try doing the same just to see. I never miss any of your videos my dear lady! You are so inspiring and informative. Such an inspiration! I’ve been doing a lot of the last few items you’ve shown us… thank you for such terrific ideas… I have no problem following your instructions, you’re very thorough and easy to follow. Just my opinion here… I love to hear you talk!!
