Natasha, I’ve been a longtime subscriber, and I am always amazed at your dedication to putting out helpful, interesting and thoughtful videos. I don’t know what keeps you going but I’m just one of many who appreciates all you do. I’ve made one of these accordion envelopes in the past but it was way more complicated. You’ve simplified the process to make it quicker and more enjoyable - and with fantastic results. Thanks again!

I know what you mean. I was watching a lady who was busy creating but complained about her day! It was an ordinary day- nothing tragic but she didn’t explain ANYTHING & I was new to her particular project. I’ve just discovered Treasure Books however and she is funny, clear, organised and creative .

Another reason why i always watch your videos is that you’re not boring and you explain the process in a short way and no need to watch an hour just to cut the paper and the editing process is amazing… There’s many crafters out there but i skip their videos because they don’t edit their videos… Your the best Natasa….

Thank you very much for sharing the storage tutorial. I have been saving return envelopes from companies for a good while and when my husband sees me take yet another one he sighs. I tell him I might find a use for them. Well now their day has come 🎉 I am making lots of the little folders for little things and ephemera. So a great big justifying thank you oxo

What a great project, Natasa! I've not made one of these with envelopes before-though I've made journals and other items with recycled envelopes. I like how easy this is! Tips I learned along the way: heavier paper does not roll over easily on the folds; mine got pinched in the wrong place on bottom fold so for the top flap I used a score board to make the creases. I also did not pay attention when I glued the envelopes to the cover, so the front openings (ie with lower edges) ended up facing the back of the cover. I also learned that it's best to cover up any writing or stamps on the envelopes Before gluing them together! 🙂 I haven't got washi tape, so it took a long time to cut scraps and glue to each end of the envelopes over the writing, and then strips between. Live and learn! Next one will hopefully be easier to assemble. Oh, I also learned: when using paper for the cover that has a design, it's best to trim both edges so the design is centered over the envelopes.

I just got some paper (mailed to me from the UK purchased from Amazon. So no shipping cost). It’s 300gsm. I got it out of curiosity because I’ve just barely started paying attention to the gsm of paper. It’s thick, soft and beautiful paper. I spent last night playing with just one sheet to see what it could do. Folding, cutting with scissors, my heavy duty guillotine cutter (worked best), gluing, inking, painting. I pretty much destroyed this one sheet. But I had a blast. I didn’t try sewing though. But today when I saw this expandable envelope pouch, I got so excited. I think for the first one, I’m just going to close the sides with my Art Glitter Glue. I’m pretty sure this pouch will outlive all of my Journals!! Thank you for sharing this idea. ♥️♥️♥️

So so glad I found your channel. I’ve been so stressed, my daughter in law is a pen pal to dozens of ppl around the world. They send each other post cards all the time. I was trying to find something to make her to hold her cards in, she currently has a shoe box n I felt I needed to do something a bit nicer with some kind of organization for her. She loves these type things. I only have 4 days before Xmas n nothing has stood out to me until NOW, thank you so soooo much. I hadn’t seen these. ITS PERFECT. I look forward to seeing more videos after I binge watch your existing ones of course lol. Thank you again.
