10:40 in the video, I believe that OS has no knowledge of how files are allocated, but disk controller, witch is hardware device inside disk is responsible for that. OS just fills controllers registers through driver so that it could know what data it should return to OS. But overall very helpful video, thanks a lot :)

What is block size 512b or 4kb.... By using ls command no of blocks is given less . Compare with stat command..I am doing on same file... plz explain.sir
