What are the steps to file a lawsuit in defamation and what to take into account

Thank you for this video. My partner and I are starting the process of reading up on all of this . We are from Montreal and my Boyfriend has a cooking channel on You tube with about 8000 subscribers. But he has been victim of defamation for the last few years by many different creators here on You tube as well. Some here in Quebec, some in USA and elsewhere. Here are examples of statements that are made in his regard: He is a , murderer, rapist, abuser, ex con, con artist, predator... and the list goes on. ALL FALSE!. he has lost wages since due to these statements his sub count and views went down significantly. I just want to thank you for getting the ball rolling for me . I took notes! Merci!

Would there be a specific lawyer if your living in a space and the individual harassing is working at a law firm.
