This letter was sent months before as a backup, to some friend, family member or sympathizer, in the event he failed. Which he did. It's NOT a suicide note or a manifesto detailing his thoughts and motivations. The only thought he left was "I'm so sorry I failed you." Taken in context of Routh's previous activities, he was primarily acting as a vigilante for justice to save the lives of innocent Ukranian civilians dying in the Russian war on them. The very war he sees Trump giving up on and letting Putin do whatever the hell he wants with. (Trumps own words on the subject months prior around Feb 10, 2024.) The letter is powerful evidence to put Routh away. It shows, premeditation, intent and consciousness of guilt. The Federal prosecutors at the DOJ need this very letter which is EVIDENCE to implicate him. They are doing their job. Remember he's citizen Trump and not elected or in office, so there are challenges to reach the highest level of punishment their aiming for. In the current climate of misinformation and conspiracy theories, this letter serves the public interest through its transparency.
