I understand these ladies want somebody around their age, but when you say you want somebody that is stable and can provide you’re gonna have to look for someone that’s more mature in age. I understand that the ladies want younger foreign guys, but I'm not sure how that would work. How many foreign guys in their thirties want them and could make it happen? I mean, money doesn't grow on trees and younger guys usually don't have enough to retire in the Philippines or to afford a K1 visa. The K1 is quit expensive when you add in a couple extended visits, fees and airfare. Maybe 5 to 10,000 USD. Don't ask me how I know.

It was just a matter of time before Western women influenced Filipinas to increase their standards to unrealistic levels. Wanting a foreigner 28-30 years-old is perfect except for those are hard for Filipinas to find. I'm also hearing Filipinas say a rich man earns 100k pesos ($2k USD) per month. Just 6 months ago they were saying 30-60k pesos. Height of man is also increasing and wanting a fit man. Soon Filipinas will be saying "Where are all the good men???". Oh well. Still many realistic Filipinas, but it is changing. This won't just be a problem for men looking for a Filipina but also for men already with a Filipina. Their friends will tell them you can do better and how to get the man's assets because PH marriage say everything a man has is also hers on day 1. She can't get a divorce but she could go to court to force the man to give access to all his assets. She is then free to clean him out and send all his money to her family for safe keeping.

Divorce is coming to the Philippines. Lots of expats who are married to young Filipinas will be in for a big shock. The best Filipinas are deep province girls where traditional values are still prevalent. Hopefully I am moving their this year. I will marry in the church but not legally. The PH has a domestic partnership law that is rock solid in the courts. You work out the terms of dissolution as part of the domestic partnership agreement.
