The first comment however completely disregarded the fact that SHE stood her ground till the end and was not wrongly accused of being an actual hero. Of course this is the Philippino way! I'm an Americano living full time in the Philippines the past five plus years, and there's no doubt in my mind from my own experiences, that the world would be such a wonderful place to live if everyone was as caring, loving, supportive like the Philippino people are! Of course there's a few bad apples here but 99.9% of the population are the absolute best people in the entire world! I'm so PROUD to be a permanent resident of the Philippines! PROUD to only have Philippino friends! I've never been happier in my 63 years of life as I am living in the Philippines 🇵🇭! It's absolutely no surprise about this story! I think being a filipina made her all the more loyal to her duty as a life saver and protector. One filipino trait that is embeded in many (not all) of us is having a genuine emphathy to others. In many parts of the world, filipinos , especially nurses are noted for such value. In the covid pandemic, filipino nurses were praised by non-filipino community for displaying courage and selfless service to the world.
