Getting better by the day. Thank you for your contributions. Special compliment on your video/photographic skills. Few amateurs could turn those most challenging lighting conditions into an advantage and use light like a brush - objects in the shade with highlights on lines, shapes, and Rembrand-like portrait lighting at such a professional level. Congratulations - your comment earlier - we need quality video equipment - pays off now

@@FlyMeToThePhilippines It all depends on the Filipina. We have been married just over 40 years with a son 40 (who is married) and a daughter 37 (also married). We have 4 grand children. My wife has worked since her graduation in the Philippines, Nigeria, Scotland and England. We lived in the Philippines for 12 years after retiring but decided to return home to the UK to spend more time with our grandchildren. My advice is never discourage your Filipina partner to persue either her education or her working career. Just remember you as a partner may not always be around due to age difference, but life for her goes on. Enjoy life in Mindanao folks.

I did about the same as him, but in 2005 and experienced about the same as he did when I brought my Filipina back with me. That was a huge mistake. Of course you can find a great Filipina that will not change, but the temptations and the risk of being corrupted by others are so huge for many of them that they will change. And suddenly you have a very different woman than the one you married. I plan to move to the Philippines and if I find a Filipina I want to shar my life with, will I not move back here with her. I will take her with me on vacations, but not for living here. I am just not taking that risk again.

I did about the same as he did when I lived in the Philippines for about 8 months in 2005 and married a Filipina and experienced about the same after I brought her back with me. My now ex wife transformed into a very different woman than the one I married after a few years in my country. Of course that doesn't happen with all Filipinas, but men need to understand that there is a clear risk involved in it. I will move to the Philippines again 3 years from now to retire there and if I meet the right Filipina, there is NO WAY that I will risk brining back the Filipina to my own country to live here with her. I will take her with me on vacations to my country and other countries in the world, but I will NOT live in any other country than the Philippines with her. I am not risking ruining something great by doing that again.

Dear Chrissy and Rob, my Filipina wife and I have been together going on nine years. We have a beautiful seven year old daughter. In October 2022 we decided to move to Italy. We are very happy here but I must say I truly miss the Philippines. I just worry about what life would be like for our daughter and my wife once I am gone in a nation that has such low salaries and very limited upward mobility. Your videos are great. By the way, I am dual American and Italian citizen and my wife is now getting Italian citizenship.

Thanks. How do you plan for (Chrissy) your boy’s future? My main concern when I decided to leave the Philippines is that even with good educational credentials, life in the Philippines seems to revolve on who you know and what connections you have. Most jobs do not pay enough for a decorous life by Western standards and good jobs require a backer. Your thoughts would be of interest. There is a 32 year difference between my wife and I.

Hi Rob good to see the road up to the falls is now been concreted. When we first went to the falls before is was commercialised a 4 wheel drive was a must. A bit further up the road past Talakag the road takes you into the Bukid proper where the scenery is breathtaking. Enjoy your days out and countryside drives around Bukidnon and further afield in the Philippines.

Really a great interview. I have the unfortunate problem of wanting to retire in the Philippines and my Filipina wife does not want to go back. Interestingly, we have had a wonderful 21 years being happily married with two beautiful children in their late teens and we only have eight years gap between us. I do not want to break our marriage up just for the sake of getting my way regarding moving overseas. I understand her reasons for not wanting to move there permanently, because of her very extended family and our prior experience with many of them. Also, we would be leaving the kids at a time where they may be starting families of their own and we would be away from potential grandchildren and other life events. Difficult decisions to make and I think we’ll probably have to compromise and maybe stay there part of the year (not my preference!). I’m just curious if you have any other subscribers or friends that are in the same boat?

Many Canadians choose to live half a year here in the Philippines and return to keep their health insurance stable and many Expats have a challenge of moving away from their adult children and missing their grandchildren. It’s a common issue among Expats however, airfare is not that difficult and you can go back-and-forth and catch all the major events.

Hi Joe, I think your wife knows more about the capabilities of her extended family than you do. After 21 years don't risk a dream of going to the Philippines turning into a nightmare. By all means take vacations in the Philippines and travel extensively throughout the islands we have. I feel your wife has the intrests of you and the kids far in front of anything else. Enjoy for as long as you can.

Fly Me To The Philippines Your Content is excellent Your interview was excellent. It flowed very well. I love how I just everything. Flowed will and how everything was answered, and everything was just awesome. That's always good when you have an interview with somebody. There'd be an honest and true. When they trust the person who's out of you're the best. Filipinos are very possessive. Yes, a lot of women, yeah, Philippines are aggressive in a good way. I guess. I guess the each is on right. I really have somebody who really wants to be with me and show me and somebody who doesn't. I've had a lot of that here in the state, so I think it would be a good change. I'm pretty sure there's some things that we do. If they don't like either. So it bounces out. You're not for the Filipino Hey. Yeah I hope you have a great day. The place that ya went to was amazing and just what an incredible place to go to hang out and do things. My place is incredible and it wasn't a lot of people they're sexy even better. At 2:06 into the video she told you everything you need to know. Somehow this girl from a challenging socio economic background is entitled to a phone she's had her eye on that cost as much as a years rent. What's not being said is hedonic adaptation in your relationship will cap out at about 2 years and you'll go back to feeling the way you did before unless you decide to make long term financial commitments. Then your happiness baseline goes way down. You're also going to be challenged with expat adaptation. Soon enough the shine of being in a foreign country will wear off and you'll be stuck going to a coffee shop in Dumegetti

@@jcjimc43 they are all the same. You would be hard pressed to find any vlogger who doesn't discuss the scams of Filipinas. The methods can be different from outright asking to letting a broken old man think it's his idea.

I agree. Bringing your filipina to the west was a big mistake. Great opportunity for the kids though. I guess maybe a catch 22 in my case. Live and learn!!

I met my beautiful filipina in January, it goes really well, we have voice and video chatted, and we already plan to get married, so I've been working my butt off trying to get a better job to 1. Go there 2. Spend time with her and know her 3. Propose to her officially 😂😂 and then go through the process of the visa which they've told me i have to earn around 21k a year, hence the me trying to get a new job since the one i have is a part time, so wish me luck on this journey guys 😁
