How would a Filipina feel if her foreign husbabd knew another language, such as German or Spanish, and he spoke that language rather than English when she was present and he was with another of his friends who also spoke that language. Wouldn't that make her feel suspicious?

CDO is super safe?
@FlyMeToThePhilippines20 сағат бұрын
It’s in the yellow not red zone in Mindanao, it might be an exaggeration to say super safe

I really most need to know the TRUE CURRENT safety profile for white foreigners in Davao City and GenSan. Any additional info would be so much appreciated!
@FlyMeToThePhilippines20 сағат бұрын
Search the Internet for red zone and yellow zone in the island. Also, there was a recent article where the US state department downgraded Davao from level three to level two.

Is it the case that no foreigners talk "foreigner safety in Mindanao" because it's a non - issue?
@FlyMeToThePhilippines20 сағат бұрын
I have felt very safe here and all of my Expat friends who have been here between eight and 15 years have expressed to me they’ve never had trouble that doesn’t mean trouble doesn’t exist. I think I just hang out with people who don’t go stumbling drunk at midnight.

HAHA! I love PF Chang's! How did he cold call on a 30-year age gap in USA? Even I can't do that lol! But, Chrissy, to your comment - - - no, age gap relationships are absolutely NOT rare in USA - - - but 30 years would be big!

Rob, I really need some SOLID advice on whether I'm ok/safe to go stay for a period in GenSan and/or Davao City. You're in Mindanao, right?
@FlyMeToThePhilippines19 сағат бұрын
Yes, correct and I’ve been Davao and I felt very safe. In fact most Filipinos would consider the safest city in the Philippines because the former president was the mayor there.
@gav680823 сағат бұрын
To me the city/province girl is made up fillapino thing i have been there 14 times travelled all over the place and met some good girls whos qualities are good some live in the province and work in the city and visa versa.But lets face it all begins how you were raised.
@FlyMeToThePhilippines19 сағат бұрын
We definitely agree. It depends on how you were raised.

Very nice guy, i also find it a bit unusual for a man his age in the states to hook up with a girl 30 years his junior, even if she is a Filipina. love the decor in his house. I live in Dumaguete and I have yet to find anything close to his taste, did he decorate it ? I would love to know where he shopped. Tnx. BTW I don't doubt his story for a minute.

Yes, he did decorated himself and I thought he had good taste also

Rob - "When you sent your Filipino to work in America, were you like, 'You know, I'm 30 years older than this beautiful girl. She's going to go and guys are going to hit on her 25 times a day'? What was it like being married to such a beautiful woman with such a big age gap in the west?" Ferrin - "You know, I think that men who are...just have that kind of mentality, that are scared of that kind of thing, that they just live that way and my...my brain just doesn't work that way." Yeah, well my brain didn't work that way either...until my nurse ex-wife cheated one me with a doctor she worked with. And considering how many of my male friends also had wives who cheated on them and how many women I have dated who admitted to cheating on their ex-husbands and how many married women hit on me on a fairly regular basis, I think it's wise for men to think that way. If he really thinks his beautiful, 30-years-younger wife that frequently went barhopping with her female friends never hooked up with other men, he is shockingly naive for a man his age (and from VEGAS!). Women who dress up for a "girls' night out" are looking for male attention. If they do it on a regular basis, they are definitely going to run into men they are attracted to. Mutual attraction + alcohol = excitement = sex. I don't intend to come across like I'm being mean to the guy, but his "men with that kind of mentality" comment struck a nerve. "Men with that kind of mentality" are realists.

This makes a lot of sense but I still don't get why things are so hard over here. It isn't like women are rare in the US, they are everywhere and are over 50% of the population. The pay gap, especially before kids, is the lowest it has ever been which is great for equality but women are also still dating up and looking for providers and that may limit things. Another difference is that we don't prioritize marriage and family. Speaking of pivoting, it seems like I would be relatively taller and relatively richer and relatively better looking if I arbitraged myself.

@FlyMeToThePhilippines19 сағат бұрын
Thank you for the feedback. I guess it’s a type of branding. We started using one. Our first guest started sweating profusely because of the weather and we use it as a thumbnail. We definitely have a different style of interview where we attempt to keep the viewer in mind and don’t just allow the interview to Powderpuff.

Congrats you guys, your channel is turning into a really fine product. On the production side I see good camera work, pleasing/pleasant settings, and you are good hosts/interviewers. On the content side: you feature interesting topics, provide helpful and/or essential information, and present a number of interesting guests (all who have an interesting story). Next on the agenda: get that 100,000 subscriber plaque.

Well, what I am most curious about: After a lifetime of 22/7 debilitating physical pain and suffering, and taking 22 pain pills daily, he visited a clinic, took one drug, and that literally made him a new man because the pain was gone. Observing him in this video one can see he is definitely a new man. So please share, what drug was that?
I suffer from chronic back pain, so I'll be interested where is clinic is located and medication. He's on

IMHO I don't believe it is not a fly by night marriage as it lasted for over a decade. At the end, she got her wish to stay in the US and because of her, he was given a chance to live where he is happy. Money is important but if we reach maybe the last stage of our life, time is more valuable to spend on what make us happy.
