Very good interview. Marichu seems like a very nice lady that knows what she wants. I also believe going slow is the best way. I have rushed into a relationship in the past and didn't work out so well. I believe taking one day at a time is best. I also think sharing everything 50/50 is good as well. The only thing she mentioned that I would not be up for is having children. I am getting too old to be raising kids. I am ok with someone having older kids but not so much on young kids. It is good to be open and honest with each other too.

If I were in The Philippines right now, I would definitely want to contact Marichu. She has a great smile, she's funny, she communicates well, and she obviously has a clever mind too (she's thoughtful). I have stayed 5 months in Pampanga before, and traveled to many of the tourist places in the country, and I spent 10 years working in the middle east so I worked with many Filipinos and understand the OFW life. I will be coming there in 2025 to spend 1 year, and during that time I am hoping to find someone worth emotionally investing in, learning, etc. I have had several r/ships that lasted some years, and most were very positive and I learned from them all, but working overseas and traveling meant that I never married and had kids. Now at 50 it feels like maybe I missed out on something important in life. So I will be coming there, taking it slow and careful, and networking socially in order to meet a good Filipina partner (like Marichu). After spending a lot of time in various countries in SE Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos) I think Filipinas make the best partners due to the shared language and basic values.

WOW! We have a lot in common! Marichu wants what I want, children of our own and a happy family life. The funny thing is that she said she came back on 11-25, but she was flying back on my birthday, the 24th. Plus, we were both in the entertainment business. We should have a lot in common. Sizzy, there's something strange I want to point out here. When Filipinos talk about foreigners, it seems like it's a well-defined concept for you. But what exactly do you mean by foreigners? Because if the foreigner is American, German, Korean, or Chinese, it's not the same thing, right? Even if you only consider Westerners, there are many cultural differences between a Canadian and a Swede. It's like confusing Filipinos and Cambodians: they're not the same people, not the same language, not the same culture.
