The song was written by June Carter Cash and she was hooking up with Johnny but she was still married so it's like she was like sinning and so she was falling into this ring of fire which was wrong.

Another fun, cute and enjoyable reaction. Something tells me all the ones to Home Free will be that way. I think Tim covered a broad range with his voice, as he often does. I appreciate that very low voices are back in the spotlight, it gives me closer ranges to my own. That’s all thanks to great groups like Home Free. Keep ‘em coming, ladies.

For rob lead (tenor) check out “end of the road” or “go rest high on that mountain” for chance (baritone) check out “skull and bones”(written by chance) or “some girls do” for great beatboxing check out “listen to the music”

Y'all should watch the original version of this song, by Johnny Cash, to get a better understanding of this cover. Johnny Cash is an American Country Music Icon.

Johnny cash is an Icon here in the Philippines as well. Many people sing Johnny Cash at Karaoke parties here. Thank you for the great comment!
@billstein25 ай бұрын
@philretirellc Ah.. OK. I only did karaoke once in PH, and didn't see Johnny Cash on the list. Of course it was a small hut along the National Highway on Mindanao, so the selection list was probably limited.

If you want to know more about this song and the history of Home Free's cover, first you should listen to the original: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z4jEh2WubayLoJI Country artist Johnny Cash was the first to sing this song, which was at the time written by his future wife June Carter. June was married to her first husband when she wrote the song. So let's just say June was embroiled within the "Ring of Fire" she found herself in, being married to her first husband, yet falling in love with Johnny Cash. Then you should watch this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIrHY5J8nLyAabc Here you will get the story of Home Free developing their version of the song for performing as a competitor in the 4th season of "Sing Off" which their group went forward and won first place.

Because I find you ladies so cute, I'm sharing the following to make your HF trek a bit easier: The group started in 2001 by brothers Chris and Adam Rupp They won The Sing Off season 4 2013 that's where they became very popular. They are the only country A Capella ( all vocals no instruments)group but they are honestly do so so much more than just country music they can sing any genre and they do. There is no Lead singer in the group. They each ( except Adam )sing the song and who’s ever voice or voices sound right for the song gets the lead unless is a bass/ baritone song then that’s Tim or Chance. A lot of time they each have a part in the song. Fans of Home Free are known as Home Fries and are very loyal to the guys. Adam Rupp: Beatboxer Extraordinaire ( 41) can make any sound imaginable (A whole drum kit, harmonica (his Nomonica we call it )plane flyovers, trains, castanets, bugs ,birds etc).Co founder from Mankato Minnesota. Rob Lundquist :Lead tenor(beard and glasses) ( 40 )very soulful voice and master whistler from Minneapolis, Minnesota Tim Foust :Bass (had long dark hair now short with grey ) ( 42 ) 5+ octave range can go so low he blows speakers or sky high from Nederland, Texas Austin Brown: High Tenor ( Long wavy hair )( 37 ) voice of an angel from Tifton Georgia. Adam Chance(Aka Chance):Baritone/Bass ( 39 ) deep, rich voice(Does the juice harp sound in Man Of Constant Sorrow) has short dark hair short beard from Baldwin County, Alabama. Replaced Chris Rupp ( Adams Brother and co founder in 2016) They have collaborated with many singers and legends Don McLean: American Pie Oak Ridge Boys: Elvira Kenny Rodgers: Children Go Where I Send Thee (Please watch the end message) Billy Gilman: One Voice Alabama: Christmas In Dixie Mark Wills: Don’t Laugh At Me ( important message at the end ) Lee Greenwood & US Airforce Band: God Bless The USA Any many more. They have 3 amazing songwriters in the group Tim, Austin and Chance So they have a very large playlist of covers and original songs End of the Road (Boyz 2 Men cover ) When A Loves A Woman Helplessly Hoping (5 part harmony masterpiece ) Unchained Melody Butts Medley/ Remix Listen To The Music Can’t Outrun You Brothers In Arms Stargazer Trilogy( All Originals written by Austin) Give Me A Sign ( Chapter 1) Stargazer Lilies( Chapter 2) MR (Chapter 3) Skull And Bones ( original written by Chance for Ubisoft new video game Skull And Bones) Might As Well Be Me ( Original) Playing With Fire ( Original) Remember My Name (Original) Oh Pretty Woman Life Is A Highway Stand By Me Cruise I Want Crazy Christmas In LA ( Newest Release Mayday(DON’T WATCH TILL YOU ARE VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE GROUP AND THEIR RANGES ) There's not a song that you pick from their 200+ catalog that is bad I haven't found one yet. They are just funny, down to earth, humble really nice guys. They are the best A Cappella group there is IMO Sorry for the long read

The song was written and performed originally by the legendary Johnny Cash, so it is set for a lower range. It's also a bit of a slower tempo than this but not by much. Just a really great song about how much a guy loves his woman! Thank you ladies!

Written by June Carter-Cash. Their arrangement is short because it was used in the NBC competition "The Sing Off" which limited songs to two minutes.

Their beatboxer, Adam Rupp, grows his hair out until it’s long enough to donate to an organization that makes wigs for children with cancer. So you’ll always see him with different lengths of hair as it grows, gets cut to donate, and grows again.
