We’re big fans of Jose Mari Chan (Tito Joe) here in the U.S. And not just for his Christmas songs! We actually met Tito Joe in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada last year. We were in the same floor of the hotel where he was staying! He was (and we were) there for his Christmas concert. We talked a lot, took some pictures with him and his family, and got his autograph on one of his albums. A really sensational guy and we loved being around him! We hope to meet you too one day. On the muffler noise Filipinos tend to tolerate that than the exhaust fumes! And the food you’re eating in the karinderya was absolutely delicious!

hey Kurt panaginip is only used for when you are asleep, bangungot is only used for having a bad dream or a nightmare also asleep. the word you're looking for is pangarap it's similar to a wish but more attainable than wish. btw it's a small world you're in my neighborhood i grew up in Pembo and went to Pembo Elementary School there. I lived in the border of Pembo and Comembo. I know how noisy and congested it is there and hot too LOL its where i came from. it might be a lot worst now than before. now you know why i want to live somewhere quiet im thinking about on a small secluded island of Batanes where most of the houses are made of stones go check it out and visit when you get a chance.

Do you know "siesta"? When I was a child, I was full of energy throughout the day, and sleeping midday was last on my list. But then my parents kept on forcing me to sleep anyway, and very rarely would I be able to do so. I just tend to toss and turn during the supposed sleep schedule. I clearly remember being told, "Kuyakoy ka nang kuyakoy dyan!" It may have a slightly different literal meaning, but I would imagine Filipinos would understand what it means given the context haha. Try the Original Pares Mami House at Amoranto St. corner Dr. Alejos St. in La Loma, Quezon City. Original must be really good and different the fact that Pares spread out like wildfire everywhere, acknowledgement of the first creation must be given respect, much like Aling Lusing's sisig being the first to create the dish. The original Pares started at Espanya in Sampaloc around 1979. We lived nearby and frequented the place as a college student. Then they relocated in Amoranto.. You must taste the original so you can know how the taste evolved. It's nemesis, equally good and the former cook at the original Pares back in Espanya, is Jonas, whose Pares restaurant is at 561 Mayon St. corner Malindang St. in La Loma. Quezon City.
