Filipino Bishop Kleopas Daclan converts to Islam

From the highest rank in the church, which is the rank of bishop, and after 21 years of service in the church, and after studying the Bible in Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic for many years and after becoming a Bible scholar, Filipino Bishop Kleopas Daclan announced that he had left Christianity in 2018 and converted to Islam. That happened when he turned 64 years old.
His story began when he was a priest in the Orthodox Church. One day he read about Islam and read some of the Holy Qur’an. He liked the pure monotheism in Islam very much, because the doctrine of the Trinity is very difficult in Christianity and difficult for anyone to understand, so he continued reading about Islam and he found out it was difficult to think of any other religion. One more time, he began to study the Bible in Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic but was shocked to find enormous errors and lots of contradictions in the Bible. The deeper he read the more contradictions it appeared to him. He began a comparative study to the different translations of the Bible to find out that the contradictions have increased. Whenever, he reads from the Holy Qur’an, he felt in his heart that the Holy Quran does consist the whole truth and it is clear that it’s the word of God. What he liked most about the Holy Qur’an besides affirmingthe monotheism of God Almighty is that the Holy Qur’an is preserved in Arabic, which is the language in which it was revealed. As for the Christian books, they were not preserved in their original language, and they are all errors and contradictions. However, he felt the difficulty of leaving Christianity and embracing Islam, and he continued to study and serve in the church until he became a bishop, which is the highest level of priesthood in the church, yet he felt an emptiness in his heart that could only be filled by the Holy Qur’an, so he left Christianity and embraced Islam, and he said when
I became a bishop. God Almighty gave me the strength to tell them that I was resigning (from the church), so I submitted to the will of God Almighty, even if that cost me the loss of my high position in the church and the loss of all the titles I had obtained in my life, as he was a deacon, then he became a Monk (priest), then he became a bishop in addition to He studied the Bible in Greece for several years, during which he became a Bible scholar and then eventually became a Muslim and testified that there is no god but God, that Muhammad is the Messenger of God, and that Jesus is the Messenger of God.
He said "I cried a lot when I converted to Islam, because Islam is simply the truth and the truth may be painful for us but it remains a fact and through it we enter heaven,the eternal life, so in the remaining years of my life, I will invite people to enter Islam".
