While riding the bus last December, Skyline Pigeon was playing on the radio and out of nowhere, 3-4 people just sang along. By the second chorus, a lot of us were singing along. LMFAO... And yes, I'm from the Philippines 😂

The second song is actually “I Will Be Here” (in the video you used, it was “I Will Be There”). It was an original by Steven Curtis Chapman in “The Live Adventure” album released in 1993. It was very popular in the Philippines, and still is. A lot of Filipino singers covered his song, like Gary Valenciano (2000) (the most popular Filipino cover). There was even a Tagalog version by Lito Magnaye in 2012 entitled “Ako'y Narito”. The song is very popular because it's a Gospel song.

Oh my gosh, you have to experience it firsthand, Filipinos wherever they are, they just sing along! I literally got goosebumps when I was in a mall, I thought there was an artist performing already but No, they were just singing along with the bg music! It's overwhelming. 😅 I have been binge watching videos with Filo Audience singing, thanks for this content! The downside is you can't hear the artist because they get "sapaw" if you know what I mean. Filo people tend to sing louder than the artist, some find it disrespectful towards the artist, but yeah, that's what you get with a Filo Audience! See u here some time Ovela.

Zephanie Dimaranan, Idol Philippines ' Winner, she sung "When You Wish Upon a Star" from the movie Pinocchio.
