Bamboo do not grow in seeds (either by cuttings or ryzone root sprouts) Most Bamboo grow from zone 5 to 11 (5 degree to 80 degree C) With a little protection during the winter time in Russa you can be successful if you grow this type that is grown well in Canada in the snow It is called (MUSA Bamboo), It is a Timber bamboo (Tall land green color and thickness about 8in when it is mature. You can order that on line. It can survive down to -5C

Liza, the bamboo shoots are eaten in the Philippines as vegetables. Next time you go to a restaurant , ask them if they serve a bamboo shoot salad . They also stir fry them with garlic. Try them , you guys might like it.

Liza. bamboos are classified as grass. The bamboo just grows from the soil like shoot. A bamboo shoot is edible and can be eaten like a salad or can be pickled in vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper and also could be added to say vegetable dish. Vanya is a smart kid, and it's so nice to be surrounded by nature, bamboo tree is not really a tree it's a grass, the largest and tallest grass , bamboo also have rice , it's called green rice or bamboo rice , and our balcony is made of bamboo 😊, you can cook rice in a bamboo, drink water in it, bamboo is a great plant, and I like how the children loves nature so much 😊, the lovers bench 😆 another romantic moment with papa Sergey and sister Liza 😆

He cut one section so he will have a tube with closed ends, and carefully carve out an opening to put coins in and will dry it until all moisture is gone to prevent mold or rust..
